While nobody was paying attention, and the world's eyes were fixated on the tremendous success of The Spaghetti Western Database (link), the creators of this very website have been staying up all night and working on what will turn out to be the last ever visual and conceptual overhaul of The Quentin Tarantino Archives. In only a few hours, you will see the new version of The Quentin Tarantino Archives (you'll notice a "v2008" at the top right corner, just in case you want to make sure), which will bring some very fundamental changes to the structure and the visual appearance of this website. The transition will be a bit dirty, so we want to ask for your forgiveness should the website be a bit buggy within the next 12 to 24 hours or so. This frontpage will disappear (you can access it through a special link in the future, in case you want to search old news) and be replaced with a new, leaner, easier, simpler blog-type frontpage. The Archives (the wiki that is the center of this website) has also received a visual overhaul and will now blend in much better with the website and should work as good as intended. The forum finally will get a fresh face and some technical improvements in the background. All the changes will hopefully be implemented without more than some blood sweat and tears. The Quentin Tarantino Archives will also cease to send out newsletters and a last newsletter will be sent out shortly before the transition. In the future, news can be subscribed to by RSS only. I hope you survive the upcoming troubles, we are confident that you will like the new 2008 version of Tarantino.info more than this one. See you soon. - Sebastian. |

The Golden Schmoes , the annual awards from the folks over at Joblo .com, are way more democratic than, say, The Academy "Awards". What makes the Schmoes great, are categories such as "best TnA" or "best line of the year". Grindhouse won 5 times. As most underrated movie of the year (althought that is clearly a weird win, because it wasn't UNDERrated, it was underVISITED), trippiest movie of the year, best horror movie of the year, best music in a movie and best movie poster of the year. Congrats to QT and RR for delivering on some real grindhousey goodness last year, and check out the rest of the winners and nominees at the Golden Schmoes website . |

Exklusiv: Death Proof (Todsicher) DVD Kritik |

(this entry is in German)
